Radisson Hotel Group has opened the doors of its first Radisson hotel in France at Nice Airport, following an extensive renovation of the property. Radisson hotel Nice Airport joins Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice as the second hotel of the city in the heart of the French Riviera.
Located in the center of the Arénas district and the Eco-Vallée, and opposite the city’s future congress center, Radisson Hotel Nice Airport features 151 rooms and suites, which offer a warm welcome. Situated just a few hundred meters from the airport terminal, visitors and guests are greeted by a relaxing atmosphere and treated to Scandinavian design elements with artwork tributes to the city of Nice throughout the hotel.
At the heart of the hotel, food lovers will discover L’Azur Bistrot Niçois, a brand-new restaurant where well-being is paired with indulgence. Offering a calm setting, the restaurant is located next to the pool and has a large terrace, enabling guests to enjoy al fresco dining during the summer months.
Chef Gaëtan Debes delivers inspired, modern Mediterranean dishes, after having previously led kitchens in Paris and gained experience at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, La Palme d’Or, at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes. His menu at L’Azur is inspired by the region’s sunny flavors with fresh, local ingredients and includes charcuterie and cheese boards, all accompanied by classic cocktails.
“We are delighted to introduce the Radisson brand to France at such a significant location. Radisson Hotel Nice Airport has undergone major renovations to create the ideal place to stay, whether as part of an ongoing journey or as a base to explore Nice and the surrounding Riviera”, says Tom Flanagan Karttunen, Area Senior Vice President, Northern & Western Europe at Radisson Hotel Group.
Fabien Gentou, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Nice Airport, says: “We are proud of the transformation of Radisson Nice Hotel Airport and look forward to hosting guests in our new, comfortable rooms. The hotel’s outdoor pool has sunbeds for guests to relax, with meals and beverages available from the outdoor bar during the day and into the evening. The outdoor space can also be reserved for private events of up to 50 guests. A brand-new fitness room is available for guests, which houses a range of modern and ecological equipment, including water rower machines made from sustainable wood and a self-propelled treadmill.
The hotel also has over 390 sqm of meetings and events facilities across six meeting rooms, each fitted with an eco-friendly air-conditioning system and state-of-the-art equipment that can support hybrid meetings. The hotel expects to be awarded the Green Key eco-label, which celebrates tourist establishments that are committed to sustainability and the environment.
With the health and safety of guests and team members as its top priority, Radisson Hotel Nice Airport is implementing the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol program. The in-depth cleanliness and disinfection protocols were developed in partnership with SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, and are designed to ensure guest safety and peace of mind from check-in to check-out.
