Mandarin Oriental to open Shenzhen property on January 20

Mandarin Oriental will open its newest Chinese property in the southeastern city of Shenzhen on January 20, 2022.

The 178-room hotel is housed within the upper floors of a 79-storey tower in the city’s Futian business district, with rooms enjoying views of the city, Lotus Hill Park, Bijia Mountain Park and Shenzhen Bay.

To celebrate, an enticing Opening Offer has been launched, which includes a daily hotel credit of CNY 1,000 that can be spent throughout the hotel’s restaurants and bars.

The Mandarin Club, located on the 78th floor, provides a private lounge experience for guests, with discreet service and dining in an intimate setting, while The Spa offers an extensive range of wellness and beauty therapies, a fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool.

The eight stylish restaurants and bars include Cantonese fine-dining by Michelin-starred Chef Fei and Spanish, European, Japanese and Pan-Asian restaurants, along with a sleek rooftop bar offering curated cocktails and rare malt whiskies, as well a cake shop serving scrumptious patisseries from the hotel’s Afternoon Tea menu.  There will also be a 77th floor banquet space, and The Cube, offering 1,500 sqm of events space.

Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen’s Opening Offer is priced from CNY 3,088 per night and includes luxurious accommodation in a Deluxe View Room, a daily CNY 1,000 credit to be spent throughout the dining outlets (non-accumulative and excludes The Mandarin Cake Shop) and a personalised welcome amenity. Rates are per room, per night are valid from 21 January 2022 through 30 April 2022, based on double occupancy,

Mandarin Oriental currently operates 35 hotels and seven residences in 24 countries and territories, including Chinese properties in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Sanya and Shanghai.
