Press the Green Button for a trip to Ireland

Tourism Ireland has announced the launch of a new campaign as the island rolls out the green carpet to holidaymakers and opens its doors to tourists in the coming months.

The Emerald Isle offers gorgeous countryside, rugged beaches, mystery-shrouded sites, beautiful parks, bustling cities like Belfast and Dublin, lively music, delicious food and that special Irish hospitality like nowhere in the world. By encouraging residents in the Middle East to press the ‘Green Button’, the campaign delivers the message to ‘book now’ and creates a commitment to travel by pressing the button – green being the color of ‘go’ and that is universally connected with Ireland.

Having prepared a wide range of health and safety standards, put the finishing touches to new hotels and other accommodations as well as culinary offers and developed a host of new experiences and activities, the island gears up to welcome Middle East residents once again.

By availing of the offers and ‘only in Ireland’ experiences on Ireland.com, visitors can look forward to exploring coastlines and mountains of Ireland as well as famous sites as Dublin, Northern Ireland, the Wild Atlantic Way, and Ireland’s Ancient East.

Tourism Ireland Chief Executive Nial Gibbons said: “We are delighted to roll out our ‘Green Button’ campaign in the Middle East to re-start tourism. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Ireland again to explore a multitude of experiences on an island that is easy to get to and easy to get around.

“There is so much to see, do and experience. Travelers can find inspiration for their next trip by visiting our website, Ireland.com, for a variety of offers on restaurants, hotels, leisure and outdoor activities.”
