Minor Hotels’s new Layan Life by Anantara, a world-class wellness retreat at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, is now officially open.
Drawing on more than two decades of pioneering wellness expertise from Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Layan Life offers bespoke three-to-10-day programmes using the ‘whole of life’ approach to wellness that celebrates and supports key life stages.
Guests with a variety of wellbeing goals such as weight management, de-stress, fitness and anti-ageing can now book onto programmes created by specialist medical doctors and Thai medicinal experts that combine ancient Thai wisdom with advanced medical treatments and diagnostics, tailored wellness nutrition and guided fitness, resulting in a highly specialised, full-circle approach to wellbeing.
Separating the retreat from its competitors is the brand concept which honours life’s journey no matter the stage or chapter, and its foundational principle – the joy of choice. Choice of treatments, the personalisation of programmes and the choice of the type of journey guests wish to embark upon. They can choose to do a solo retreat or come with family and friends. Families are warmly welcomed at Anantara Layan Resort, and there are plenty of activities to keep children entertained while parents focus on their wellness goals at Layan Life.
The Layan Life journey begins with a comprehensive wellness consultation followed by a diagnostic check-up including epigenetic testing and advanced physiotherapy with 3D body scans. Results are analysed by the medical team who then curate bespoke programmes using the Life Method which integrates four key pillars of wellness: Longevity Medicine, Traditional Thai Medicine (TTM), Complementary Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine.
Layan Life’s identity is grounded in Anantara’s Thai heritage and honours the four elements at the core of Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM): earth, water, wind, and fire. Treatments include herbal remedies and hands-on therapies aid the balance of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing – complemented by state-of-the-art medical and holistic therapies.
