IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its Staybridge Suites footprint in the region with the opening of the new Staybridge Suites Dubai Internet City.
Staybridge Suites is IHG’s extended stay hotel brand that offers a residential-style hotel designed for multi-night business and leisure travelers looking to break from the travel norm while on the road.
“We understand that our guests are away from home but also want to unlock the full potential of their stay. We are here to ensure they ‘feel free’ to focus their energy on progress, or a relaxing wind-down at the end of the day,” said the Hotel Manager Francesco Pompilio.
“Our teams enable a sense of community and help guests navigate the possibilities of their stay and encourage them to discover this up and coming part of town,” he noted.
Head of Hospitality at SRG Holding Louay Sarrage said: “We are delighted to partner with IHG Hotels & Resorts, to open our first Staybridge Suites in Dubai.
“The city is set to become an iconic destination for Expo 2020 and, with a great location, the power of the brand and IHG’s signature hospitality, we are confident the hotel will be a great success.”
A plethora of nearby leisure destinations await guests, including the architectural marvel Palm Jumeirah, along with other local attractions, pristine beaches, and dining destinations. The metro station is only a few steps away, for guests to connect to the rest of the city, the airport or to the Expo 2020 Dubai venue.
“Guests will have a choice between studios, one- and two-bedroom suites. All 225 suites feature spacious and comfortable living, working, and dining spaces and a fully equipped kitchen with home appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer,” stated Sarrage.
Many of the apartments feature their own balcony to enjoy views of the cityscape and the Gulf. Several interconnecting units offer greater flexibility for families or small groups travelling together, he added.
