Condor Airlines unveils cabins of its new Airbus A330neo aircraft

Germany’s Condor Airlines will introduce its first Airbus A330neo aircraft late this year.  The budget carrier’s Frankfurt-Seattle route will be one of the first to be serviced by the new planes.

Condor will configure the three-cabin aircraft with 30 lie-flat business class seats, 65 premium economy seats and 216 economy seats.  Premium economy seats will offer a minimum of 35 inches of space between rows, while economy flyers will have at least 30 inches.

The planes will be equipped throughout with high-speed WiFi and seatback screens offering the carrier’s slate of in-flight programming.

Condor has 16 A330neos on order and expects to take delivery of one per month once deliveries begin this fall. The planes will augment Condor’s widebody fleet of Boeing 767s.

The leisure-oriented carrier is flying its largest schedule to the U.S. this summer with 12 routes. Those include new service between Frankfurt and New York JFK, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Condor also serves Portland, Ore.; Boston; Phoenix; Minneapolis; Baltimore; Seattle; Las Vegas; and Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska.
