The number of visitors to Riyadh Season, an entertainment festival, has increased within eight days to more than one million, taking the visitors’ tally to more than 13 million, compared to 12 million on February 26. This was the largest turnout at the event since its inception this year, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.
Riyadh season was marked by an increase in its entertainment frequency and an increase in the number of visitors as well since its launch on October 20, under the theme #ImagineMore, the opening ceremony of which represented a global carnival attended by more than 250,000 visitors, including ambassadors and diplomats from 17 countries.
Riyadh Season has registered various achievements, including an array of entertainment activities, such as Riyadh Falconry Cup, Maradona Cup, the rare jewellery exhibition, Riyadh International Motor Show, Saudi Made exhibition, perfume exhibition, and the opening of new and successive events in several regions including the “Boulevard Riyadh City”, a lavish location full of international entertainment options, as well as recording five Guinness World Records.
A wide range of exceptional events was held in the areas of Riyadh season, including plays, as well as various musical concerts performed by Arab singers on theatres or in restaurants where tasty food flavors were served with the spirit of music.
