Spotnana partners with Cleartrip to enhance travel content in India

Spotnana has announced a strategic API integration with Cleartrip, a move set to expand its travel content offerings in India. This collaboration aims to enhance booking capabilities and provide greater access to local airline content for corporate and leisure travelers.

India’s corporate travel market, currently valued at $10.6 billion, is projected to reach $20 billion by 2030. Recognizing the country’s growing significance as a global travel hub, Spotnana has prioritized expanding its footprint in the region. The new integration with Cleartrip aligns with this vision, offering customers improved access to domestic airline content and seamless multi-source bookings.

The partnership between Spotnana and Cleartrip is built on a foundation of trust and collaboration dating back to 2007, when Spotnana’s CEO first connected with Cleartrip’s Founder and CEO, Stuart Crighton. This relationship has now evolved into a robust integration designed to streamline travel management for businesses and individual travelers alike.

Anuj Rathi, Chief Business and Growth Officer at Cleartrip, emphasized the shared commitment: “Cleartrip and Spotnana are dedicated to providing convenience, choice, competitive prices, and premium content to travelers. Our API will give Spotnana access to a wide range of airlines in India, offering better value and selection for customers.”

Key Benefits of the Integration

With this direct API connection, Spotnana’s partners and customers will gain:
– Expanded airline content: Direct access to major Indian low-cost carriers, including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air.
– Seamless multi-source bookings: The ability to combine Cleartrip’s airline content with other sources within Spotnana’s ecosystem for a unified itinerary.
– Enhanced booking capabilities: Features like negotiated rates, ancillary services, self-service cancellations, and GST compliance for a smoother travel experience.

Spotnana’s VP of Content and Commercials, Bill Brindle, highlighted the impact of the integration: “We aim to leverage the full potential of our content partners’ APIs. This collaboration enables us to offer enhanced booking flexibility and a superior travel experience.”

Spotnana’s partnership with Cleartrip is part of a larger strategy to enrich its Travel-as-a-Service platform through direct integrations with key travel suppliers worldwide. By continuously expanding its inventory and capabilities, Spotnana is poised to deliver an optimized and seamless booking experience for travelers across India and beyond.
