Saudi Arabia’s NEOM unveils new luxury coastal destination, Magna

Magna is NEOM’s newest region within the evolving giga-project development in Saudi Arabia’s northwest. Part of NEOM’s regional sustainable tourism portfolio, the luxury lifestyle destination on the Gulf of Aqaba coastline spans 120 kilometres and twelve premier destinations, including Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam, and Jaumur.  It will focus on cutting-edge technology, world-class architecture, and ultra-modern amenities integrated with nature.

Each destination within Magna offers a unique experience for residents and guests while seamlessly blending into a unified whole. The development will include 15 luxury hotels, 1,600 hotel rooms, suites and apartments, and over 2,500 premium residences and prioritise the conservation, preservation, and rejuvenation of native flora, fauna, and the natural landscape.

As part of Magna, Capella Hotels and Resorts has announced its first coastal destination in Saudi Arabia at Elanan. The coastal sanctuary will offer an exclusive wellness retreat, blending contemporary design with the natural environment.

The resort will feature 80 bespoke rooms and suites designed to provide a tranquil environment where contemporary aesthetics meet the beauty of the landscape. Capella will include a holistic wellness experience driven by Capella Wellness that incorporates authentic Arabian wellness practices and modern therapies.
