Dubai welcomes back Summer Surprises from June 28

Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2024 is set to deliver its biggest edition yet, promising a summer well spent for residents and visitors alike.

The 27th edition of this highly anticipated event, organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), will take place from June 28 and continue until September 1, 2024, spanning 65 days. It will offer an array of entertaining events, exciting prizes, culinary experiences, and attractive hotel promotions, a statement said.

The city will unlock endless summer adventures with daily surprises, raffles, exclusive retail promotions, culinary offerings, and complimentary access for kids across leading hotels and iconic attractions. DSS 2024 caters to diverse interests, including groups of friends, families, couples, and solo travellers, seeking pocket-friendly or thrilling adventures.

The festival will commence with must-see concerts at Coca Cola Arena by legendary performers Georges Wassouf and Al Shami on June 28, followed by rap stars Xzibit, D12, and Obie Trice on June 29, and Ethiopia’s biggest pop star, Teddy Afro, on June 30.

The Beat the Heat concert series will return for its third year, showcasing an epic line up of rising Young Arab musicians, game zones and dining experiences. Visitors can expect talented performance from artists like Siilawy, Marwan Moussa, Soulja, Abo El Anwar, and Big Sam.

DSS sales will bring bargains at top brands across the city, offering deals, limited-time offers and attractive prices on lifestyle, fashion, beauty and electronics brands throughout the summer.

With a comprehensive calendar of events showcasing a diverse range of experiences, Dubai Summer Surprises 2024 promises a summer filled with entertainment, excitement, and substantial savings across the city, it said.
