Wizz Air is raising the bar for budget travel with the introduction of WIZZ Class, a new optional service designed for cost-conscious travellers who value additional personal space and streamlined convenience. This service is available for purchase on the selected flights to and from Budapest, Bucharest Otopeni, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick and Rome Fiumicino.
When a customer chooses WIZZ Class, one of the middle seats closer to them (1B and 1E) will be reserved on their flights. As first row also includes extra legroom, the service will ensure more space and comfort to relax or work while flying in the efficient, single-class cabin. The product will be available as an add-on within the booking flow to Smart and Plus bundle purchases, on the seat selection page. These bundles include priority boarding with 10 kg carry-on suitcase. With additional WIZZ Class service passengers will also get booked middle seat and complimentary non-alcoholic drink and snack.
“Business travel is growing across our network, and we’ve listened to what our passengers want.” said Silvia Mosquera, Commercial Officer at Wizz Air. “They’re asking for a bit more space and speed, but they don’t want to pay legacy airline prices for business class. WIZZ Class answers that demand—offering passengers the room they crave and the service they deserve, without compromising our simple, convenient model. We are also committed to stay a single-class carrier with our efficiency targets”
Unlike traditional business-class offerings, WIZZ Class doesn’t require costly cabin overhauls. The solution is simple: by reserving out just two middle seats, giving customers the space to stretch out and work, but still within the same high-efficiency cabin layout Wizz Air is known for.
