Singapore Airlines is to resume a full schedule from Heathrow to Changi airport in June. It comes as the carrier announces a partnership with regional carrier Loganair in order to increase accessibility for its UK customers.
From June 2, Singapore Airlines will return to its pre-pandemic flight frequency to and from Heathrow, with four daily flights (28 weekly). All London departures will be part of the country’s Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) network. They will be operated using B777-300ER, A380 and A350 aircrafts.
The airline’s interline agreement with Loganair will see it connect seven of the regional carrier’s routes to its flights from the UK to the US, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Customers will be able to transfer onto long-haul flights from Manchester and Heathrow on one booking.
Loganair’s routes that are linked to Singapore Airlines’ flights are: From Aberdeen, via Manchester, to both Houston and Singapore; From Inverness, via Manchester, to Singapore; From the Isle of Man, via Manchester or Heathrow, to Singapore and from Teesside, via Heathrow, to Singapore.
At Manchester, Loganair operates out of Terminal 1 and Singapore Airlines out of Terminal 2. At Heathrow, both operate out of Terminal 2.
