Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) and flynas Airlines have announced a strategic partnership to offer travel experience by integrating flight bookings with the Haramain High-Speed Railway through a unified booking system, promoting digital transformation and supporting the Kingdom’s transport sector, reported SPA.
Launched at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, the partnership will allow passengers to book both flight and train tickets through a single platform, aiming to simplify travel procedures, integrate air and rail transport, enhance planning efficiency, and improve customer value for both entities.
SAR, a major rail operator in the MENA region, manages an extensive national network of over 5,500 kilometers, including the Haramain High-Speed Railway, the fastest in the Middle East at 300 kilometers per hour.
The railway offers rapid and advanced travel between Makkah and Madinah in around two hours, connecting key cities such as Jeddah and its airport.
