Erth Abu Dhabi unveils Emirati-style pool & beach

Erth Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s treasured destination of Emirati hospitality, cuisine and recreation, has launched Al Waryah Pool & Beach, a new family-friendly leisure experience born from the heart of Emirati hospitality.  Previously known as the Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel, Erth Abu Dhabi presents its new pool and beach destination, with unique, authentic experiences and personalized, high-quality service in the heart of the UAE capital.

Al Waryah Pool & Beach provides hotel guests, local residents and overseas visitors with a beautiful desert oasis immersed in nature and the authentic traditions and heritage of the UAE.

Guests are also invited to extend their experience with a stay in one of the 13 new luxury beachfront villas – spanning one to four bedrooms – or in one of our refurbished rooms & suites. Adorned with elegant, simplified and authentically Emirati décor, every element of the design elegantly incorporates locally sourced natural materials, and neutral tones that reflect the unique and ancient desert landscape of the UAE.

Families, couples and friends can unwind and soak up the sun on the 350-metre stretch of pristine private beach, cool off in the two oasis shape swimming pools, and enjoy a range of water sports such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, jet skis and more.  Complementing these activities is an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool, gym and extensive sports and fitness facilities at Etizan Fitness.

The destination actively encourages wildlife and flora and fauna with tree planting activities, and various environmental and bird rehabilitation programmes. Our guest can enjoy special kayak tours of the surrounding mangrove forests, enabling adventurous guests to explore a precious protected area that has never before been open to the public.

Providing multiple opportunities to relax and recharge, Al Waryah Pool & Beach offers restorative beach yoga sessions, therapeutic massages delivered by expertly trained therapists in private beach cabanas, and an array of wholesome and nourishing food and beverage options.

Little ones can also enjoy access to their own children’s pool, while those who want to burn off some energy can join in with beach volleyball, football, table tennis and an array of other engaging sports and activities. As one of only two Blue Flag-certified beaches in Abu Dhabi, parents and guests can feel rest assured that the beach is managed and operated under the highest quality services and safety procedures.

Guests are invited to dine al fresco just steps from the sparkling blue Arabian Gulf, with private cabana dining experiences, providing authentic Emirati delicacies using locally sourced farm to table ingredients. Tasty light bites, drinks and snacks can also be enjoyed at poolside restaurant Asrah. Adding extra allure, the swim-up pool bar enables guests to enjoy refreshing beverages straight from the cool waters of the spacious adult pool.

Located adjacent to the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Al Waryah Pool & Beach is free to access for hotel guests at Erth Abu Dhabi, while members of Etizan fitness club are encouraged to upgrade their membership to enjoy complimentary access.  

Day guests are welcome daily between 10am and 6pm, with day passes starting from AED199 ($54) inclusive of AED100 food and beverage credit. Ladies Day promotions and other weekly events are set to be introduced very soon.
